There are several menu options to choose from when dining at Sirocco. The a la carte option has a host of intriguing dishes but we are most excited about the Heritage Collection menus, which aim to bring the very best of Mediterranean cuisine to Bangkok, using ingredients handpicked from around the world: almonds from Morocco, lobsters from France, Iberico pork from Spain, and much more. For a starter, the Carabinero red prawns (990 baht) are enriched with a Campari gelée to give them a lingering flavour and come highly recommended. For something more filling, start with a pilaf rice dish called baby octopus and Portuguese cod (990 baht) which draws similarities to Spanish paella and comes with thick cuts of fish.
The classic French dish of bouillabaisse is served in a rustic iron skillet that is overflowing with fresh seafood produce, including soft, white monkfish fillets, Brittany lobster and tiger prawns. The broth is a playful mix of pepper and star anise that is present but never as strong as you might find on the south coast of France, and allows the premium grade seafood to take centre stage.
