Sorry, just read the original thread more carefully and now I understand what you are suggesting. This may be acceptable if the gap between the cement or steel pillars is small enough to prevent people getting through, otherwise I am against this on the grounds of security. And, the rest of the boundary is cement wall changing this bit does not help the view from the units in building A and we may need a wall to put the water meter and tap on, I am against fixing anything to the granite. If they think that there is not enough light for the original green wall concept then the hedge is not going to do much better and we could end up with a very shabby looking boundary and when that happens who is going to maintain it?
Personally I think I am against this idea but we do need them to change the colour of the wall and plant the rest of the trees.

Hi Everyone, seems to me at Via that this is just a hedge growing out of the ground, not a green wall. There is another property on Sukhumvit that does, or did, have a green wall and it always seemed to be in need of attention and 8 stories up that is not going to be easy. I thought we had decided to not insist on the green wall because of the maintenance issues and instead settle for the wall being painted a light colour and the remaining African corks planted, or am I dreaming again?
