Intraindividual CVs of Plasma Insulin Concentrations and GIRs
The intraindividual CVs, ameasure of PK/PD variability, were calculated in all four studies, comparing R+ with R- horizontal, R- up, and R- down. In the latter three studies, the greatest variability for free immunoreactive insulin (FIRI) Cmax and GIR Cmax occurred between R+ and R- down. This was also the case for FIRI_ AUC(0–end of study). TheGIR_AUC(0–end of study) had the highest CV in all comparisons, the more elevated values being between R+ and R- horizontal (Table 2).
