P. ricini (Lepidoptera: Arctiidae) under laboratory conditions.Third, fourth, fifth (nymphal instars) and adult (male and female) at 1st, 2ndand 3rd day under laboratory conditions
Results revealed that the third, fourth and fifth instars predator Eocantheona furcellata consumed 2.8, 5.8 and 7.3 preys and completed the stadia period in 3.9, 5.4 and 6.2 days and hence this predator could be used for the biological control agent of P. ricini. However, more studies are necessary to recommend this predator as a biological control agent.
