Lv et al. [8,9] studied air-stream gasification of pine sawdust in a fluidized bed and found that the highest hydrogen yield reached 71 g/kg biomass (wet basis) at a reactor temperature of 900 C, ER of 0.22 and steam to biomass of 2.7. Also, the gas LHV ranged between 6700 and 9140 kJ/Nm3 when ER varied from 0.19 to 0.27 and steam to biomass ratio varied from 0 to 4.
