Thus, the focus of this article is to
characterize the complex genes of TAG synthesis, to evaluate enzyme activity under multiple genes
combination, and analyzing the effects on TAG accumulation. The Chlorella-codon-optimized genes
(http://www.kazusa.or.jp/codon/ ) of heterologous genes (GPAT, LPAAT, PAP, and DGAT) from
Chlamydomonas reinhardtii were thus obtained and a series of recombinant proteins among these four
genes’ constructs are designed and synthesized for investigation understating the best gene combine that is
able to TAG production
