We know there's no chance of Harry Potter appearing in the "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" trilogy (These news is not a surprise ince it takes place about 60 years before the Boy Who Lived was born.) However, there is another well-known wizard who could make an appearance alongside Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander: Albus Dumbledore.
Though "Fantastic Beasts" is set in New York City, Britain-bound Dumbledore did write the foreword to Scamander's book, so we know they were friendly — who's to say the future Hogwarts headmaster can't make an appearance at some point in the trilogy?
