2.3.1. Preparing the microtitre plate
Columns one to six and rows A to G of a microtitre plate (1a) were marked off. A second plate (1b) was taken, columns were marked off and rows were labeled as A1–G1. Using an Eppendorf pipette, isosensitised nutrient broth (90 μl) was added to wells one to six of rows B to G of plate 1a and to rows A1 to F1 of plate 1b. To wells 1–4 of row A, the extracts at a concentration of 1 mg/ml were added, and DMSO and ciprofloxacin at a concentration of 0.25 μg/ml were to rows 5 and 6, respectively.
