Nick Fletcher has worked as a toxicologist in the Australian Public Service for more than 8 years, conducting risk assessments on agricultural and veterinary chemicals, prescription medicines, food additives, and contaminants. Before joining the public service, he conducted research on the human health impacts of persistent organic pollutants in food in Sweden. He has a Bachelor of Science degree and a PhD in toxicology.
