Hamouda (2013) Studied about the listening problems encountered by a group of 60 first year English majors of Qassim University. The results of the study showed that accent, pronunciation, speed of speech, insufficient vocabulary, different accent of speakers, lack of concentration, anxiety, and bad quality of recording were the major listening comprehension problems encountered by the leaners. Understanding students’ learning difficulties may enable teachers to help students learn and improve the English listening ability. The instrument which was employed in this study was questionnaire. The questionnaire was used to get information about the difficulties the students faced in EFL listening.
