Data on DI was recorded as the percentage of fruits showing anthracnose out of the total number of fruits in each treatment (12 fruit). DS was scored using a 1-5 scale, where 1 ¼ 0% of fruit surface rotten; 2 ¼ 1e25%; 3 ¼ 26e50%; 4 ¼ 50e75% and 5 ¼ 76e100% (Sivakumar et al., 2002). The scores were changed in to percentage severity index (PSI) for the analysis (Wheeler, 1969).
