Record numbers queued for Wimbledon tickets in glorious sunshine on Sunday but festival goers heading for Glastonbury have been warned to pack their wellies.
All 500 queue places to secure Centre Court tickets for today’s play were taken by 8.30am.
More than 100 fans slept on the pavement on Saturday night to ensure they could get courtside to watch defending champ Andy Murray.
The previous record was 10am, set before the opening day last year.
Londoner Ruth Miller, 27, has queued up for tickets for the past 17 tournaments. She said: ‘This is the busiest it’s been.’

An All-England Club spokesman said: ‘There were a lot of people in the queue by early morning. It’s due to Murray playing on Monday.’
Temperatures in Bournemouth hit 22C (72F) on Sunday, causing car parks and roads to be gridlocked. Beachgoers struggled to find a spot on the 11km (seven-mile) stretch of sand as about 50,000 people arrived.
The Met Office warned the warm weather may only last until Wednesday with rain set to fall just in time for the Glastonbury festival in Somerset.
Forecaster Emma Sharples said: ‘It does look like things are going to slowly change through the next week.
‘There’s no suggestion of there being any heavy rain at the moment, it looks like there will just be short, sharp bursts of showery rain mixed with sunshine.’
