We have looked at the comparative samples that you gave me to take back and compared to our fresh batch just made.
The samples you gave me that customer approved and is comparing are not production batch samples ; these are only lab made batch and date from Dec 2012 ; so they are quite old and not true of production scale.
This product tends to develop more of the 'nutty' or slight pandan notes as it ages ; so our new batches will always be fresher and a bit greener than aged stocks ; especially some thing that is over 16 months old. This is not a good sample for them to compare new stock with.
Having said that we are looking at the possibility of seeing what we can do to minimise the perceived green note in the fresh product and if this helps we will look at updating the formulation if required
