The reaction time has a prominent influence on the catalytic activity as revealed in Fig. 6 for the synthesis of AGC at semi- batch operation. The conversion of AGE in the first hour was 46% procuring a maximum of >98% in 6h and thereafter remained nearly unchanged. The selectivity to AGC was very high and main- tained throughout whole the reaction time. Thus, 6 h was chosen as reaction time for the further kinetic studies. In order to check a
