There is a paddy field adjacent to the damaged boundary wall, which is 1.5 meters lower than the wall. We noticed that the soil at the location connected with the boundary wall had split that become harden after rain and evidence of the soil pushing the wall. The soil has to absorb the surcharge load from field at the rear area of Building no. 2 and during the rainy season, the soil mass is also saturated with rainwater. These factors have caused lateral load of the soil and landslide onto the lower ground which is the paddy field.
