Reporting Obligations
Holders of blocked property, including U.S. person banks receiving blocked payments or
other transfers must file a report with OFAC within 10 business days from the date the
property was blocked. In addition, comprehensive reports of all blocked property held as
of June 30 of the current year must be filed annually. The annual reports are due to OFAC
by September 30 of each year. Reports of rejected funds transfers must also be filed with
OFAC within 10 business days. U.S. person banks must reject funds transfer where funds
are not blocked but where processing the transaction would be a violation of OFAC
regulations.
