According to the Japanese
desiccator method, JIS A 1460 (2001), the mean grade value for formaldehyde of F$$ plywood is
1.5 mg l1 and maximum 2.1 mg l1
. Plywood was
treated with the reducers made from natural
compounds and the SERs were measured according
to the preceding methods. Fig. 2 shows the changes
in formaldehyde SER shown by the various
reducers.
