To obtain mango puree (19% soluble solid content),ripe mangoes were washed,peeled, cut into pieces and pulped to a mango puree by hand followed by sieving.Mango puree was degassed by applying vacuum to remove dissolved air.To maintain a constant mass of solides,20g of puree was poured and evenly by lifting a plate. Films were dried in a hot air oven at a controlled temperature 50+ 30C for 12h until they could be released from the plates. The final solid content of the film was 3.8 g
