The Ford Fiesta will position Ford as a credible player in the small car segment with an aspirational offering, and seek to connect with a customer segment which Ford has relatively little engagement with in the past - young people. It will face stiff competition from the dominant Japanese brands (Toyota & Honda) that are already well established and trusted in the marketplace.

*The best-in-class features:
• A connectivity package in the Sport model that features Voice Control technology paired with Bluetooth, which provides wireless connectivity to a mobile phone. Voice commands allow users to make and receive phone calls, change the radio station or CD track that is playing, or even adjust the temperature inside the car.
• The Ti-VCT engine with Power Shift six-speed automatic transmission that provide a quiet, smooth-shifting ride and leading fuel efficiency; Electronic Stability Program that provides precise traction with all road conditions, and a Hill Launch Assist function that makes stopping and starting on steep inclines much easier.
