I have looked at this issue and it does appear that Robert Ewart accepted the order at 160 HB maximum which is below the standard for F44 material (there is no standard hardness for this material within ASME B16.20 or API 6A). Unfortunately he has not created new part numbers or informed either production or inspection of this non-standard requirement so all parts were processed within our standard requirements for F44 of 180 HB (89 HRB).
