Sergej Belozerov, Portfolio Manager and Managing Director, has been investing in stock markets since 1998 and has more than 10 years of analysis and fund management experience in Asian equity markets identifying, appraising and implementing investment opportunities in the region as well as over 3 years of dedicated experience in the Thai market across all sectors. Mr. Belozerov is responsible for the fund's allocation of assets and selects the companies that the fund invests in.
Prior to starting Greyhound Asia Fund in August 2010, Mr. Belozerov was a Co-manager of the Thai Focused Equity Fund at Quest Management, which managed approximately US$ 200 million as of December 2010. During this period, this unlevered fund outperformed the index as well as all known peers. Before moving to Asia, Mr. Belozerov was a Senior Analyst covering Asia at Charlemagne Capital, which managed US$ 6 billion as of July 2008, of which nearly US$ 1 billion was invested in Asia.
Mr. Belozerov earned a German Diplomkaufmann degree from the International School of Management in Germany and is a CFA charter holder. Mr. Belozerov is a German citizen and is fluent in English, Russian and German. He also speaks Spanish and Thai.
