Data in the study indicated that bradycardia should not
be aggressively treated in this period if mean arterial pressure, lactate clearance, and diuresis are maintained at
acceptable levels and acknowledges that further studies
are warranted to concur with these findings (Staer-Jensen
et al, 2014). Potential arrhythmias that can occur during
therapeutic hypothermia will be discussed in the
‘Complications’ section of this article.
