This directive applies to all employees of Bayer Thai.
Responsibility for ensuring compliance with this directive rests with each of
Bayer Thai’s authorized signatories and the respective traveler

Is it still valid after this car policy announcement?
2. Approve for exceptional case
2.1 Entitlement for a company car
a) Employees with Grade VS 3 and higher
b) All Expats (Expat-Trainees are not entitled unless category c) or e)
applies)
c) Members of the Country Council
d) MTP Management Team as outlined in MTP’s QES Manual
e) Employees with non-office based functions (according to judgment by
line management)
The above mentioned criteria shall also apply for the members of the BCS
Management Committee (MC). Grandfathering is applied for current BCS’
MCs. Deviations from any rule of this guideline need to be approved by the
Senior Bayer Representative. Documentation of the approval is kept with
the General Administration Department.
In case sub group would like to offer a car to person who are not entitled to company car.
In case someone would like to go for other car model not in this policy.
In case someone would like to change from car to allowance.
Are SBR authorized to approve all above request? What was practice in the past?
My opinion:
Exceptional should be limited and must have very good and solid reasons. ( answers must be prepared to questions from other employee if there is)
Exceptional case should not be finalized by one single person. Why not CCM?
