Teachers should first remove misconceptions of students so that students can learn new concepts in a meaningful
context. To do so, misconceptions should be detected in the first place. Teachers should be able to use different
methods and materials for this aim. Therefore, teachers should be informed about concept teaching and
misconceptions.
Animations should be used in the instruction of abstract and hard-to-learn topics like photosynthesis and
respiration. It would be fruitful that field experts and educational technolgists collaborate on preparation of such
animations.
