Australian Open 2014: Li Na beats Eugenie Bouchard to reach final
Li Na reached the Australian Open final for the third time as she ended the hopes of teenager Eugenie Bouchard.
Fourth seed Li is the highest-ranked semi-finalist and she exerted her authority immediately, racing into a 5-0 first-set lead in 14 minutes.
Bouchard, 19, had never been beyond the third round of a Grand Slam before and her nerves showed, although she did break Li late in the opener.
But that did not boost her fortunes in the second set as Li won 6-2 6-4.
