My goal was (and still is) to have a 5.0 GPA by the time I graduate. On our scale, an A+ is a 5.5, and A is a 5.0, a B+ is a 4.5, a B is a 4, etc. Right now I have a 4.93. Basically that means I have to get straight As and A+s from now until I graduate. I'm not going to lie, with 5 AP classes that's not going to be easy.
My actual school accomplishments have been pretty modest. I am top 5 in my class, but I never won any awards or anything, except for some scholarship to RPI that I'm not even going to use. I've only been in a couple clubs here and there, and was never in any leadership position or anything.
My best accomplishments came in swimming. I was state champion last year in the 100 Backstroke, and finished top 5 in 2 other events. I've been to Junior Nationals (and am going again this month) and I've qualified for Nationals, and swam in the same lane as Michael Phelps during warm up at a swim meet. However, I can't really every be satisfied with swimming because if I am, then I'll lose the drive to get better. So I can't ever let myself think that what I'm doing is good enough.
