Corporate Visual Merchandising Manager
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
The roles and responsibilities are:
Implement and coordinate in-store environments in support of brand image and client experience.
Oversee implementation of seasonal window displays and styling based on seasonal marketing platform.
Develop all aspects of store environment to maximize sales while maintaining brand’s aesthetic and merchandising principles. Create plans to modify visual merchandising by store tier/type, addressing all store types, and flexing presentations as needed.
Possess strong business acumen and awareness of brand’s featured PR and marketing campaigns in order to most effectively merchandise the product in-store to drive sales and gross margin.
Possess expert knowledge and key understanding of the visual industry and competitive market place.
Communicate regularly with Field leadership and provide training to implement and maintain visual merchandising strategies in each individual store.
Build and inspire a talented visual team.
Visit stores regularly to ensure that visual direction is being followed.
Help train Store Managers, and store teams in visual display. - Provide regular reports to Marketing Director regarding status of visual direction in the region, areas for improvement, recommendations, etc.
Maintain and meet budgets for all in-store visual displays and installations (freelancers, flowers, props, etc.).
Assist Brand Manager and other corporate departments and Store Managers with visual aspects of new store openings and all aspects (both visual and otherwise) of special events and other store initiatives.
Follow up memos/photos of store windows and interior visual direction for events.
Directly manage the Visual Merchandiser, who will focus on wholesale and special events.
Motivate, coach, and engage team to maximum productivity.
Adjust plans to keep the team on course as needed.
Build strong partnerships and communication with key cross functional team members.
QUALIFICATION
o Minimum 10 years Display, visual merchandising experience & at least 5 years’ experience as management level with specialty retailer highly preferred.
o Merchandising experience with good analyzes skill (knowledge of fashion “product”) & Experience working in a corporate visual environment.
o Store Planning background and budget management experience a plus.
o Deadline and detail-oriented.
o Proven track record leading retail design & operation& project management
o Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of graphic design programs
o Ability to focus on overall strategy of each business unit along with excellent attention to details
o Fashion loving, beauty product and luxury product admire.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong analytical, organizational, teamwork and leadership skills.
o Self-motivated and resourceful with initiative and proactive working style.
