Lennox Moles was born premature at 25 weeks and weighed only 800 grams.
Doctors at The Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, immediately put in a plastic bag to help him regulate his temperature to prevent hypothermia before he was taken to his incubator.
Lennox's mother, Lilly Munro, described the newborn's temporary home as an 'oven bag' and said it was a common practice for premature babies who had not developed enough to keep themselves warm.
'It is quite confronting image... He was put in a plastic oven-type bag and whisked away,' Ms Munro told Daily Mail Australia.
