The objective of this study was to compare efficiency of Tinospora crispa Miers. extracted by two solvents, water and alcohol, to control Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton. Trunks of T. crispa was fermented in both solvents for 3 days with 6 levels of concentrations at 0, 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20% w/v and applied 5 times on Citrus maxima Burm with 3 days interval. The experiment was performed with 3 replications and leave damage was evaluated at 3 days after fifth application. The result revealed that the lowest mean of leave damage score caused by P. citrella was found in T. crispa at 20% w/v. However, the concentration 40% w/v gave mean of leave damage score least than 5%. The efficiency of T. crispa extracted by water was higher than that extracted by alcohol.
