Step 4: Design Relevant Graphics
Once the framework for the game has been put into
place, consider the available resources and viable options for
producing relevant game graphics. Do you have a color
printer, a laminator, or cardstock? Developing games that
appear authentic does not need to be expensive. For
example, purchasing a box of printable, blank business cards
is less expensive than purchasing printable playing cards.
Game manufacturers also sell replacement parts for their
games at a low cost, so consider this option for a specific
type of pawn or die. The Match Me! game required the use of
a color printer, a word processing program, and game card
materials.
