This national law is used for the conservation and preservation of species of wild fauna and flora. It
designates national and international “endangered species of wild fauna and flora” and regulates their
hunting/collection or trade, protection of habitat, and promotion of reproduction. “International
endangered species of wild fauna and flora” are defined as those species listed in Appendix I of
CITES or species reported in bilateral conventions and agreements for the protection of migratory
birds, while “national endangered species of wild fauna and flora” are defined as those threatened in
the wild because their living conditions are affected by human activities. In the case of species
