Phu Pha Thoep National Park is a small Park of 48.5 sq km immediately south of Murkdahan City on the Mekong River boundary with Laos. The park’s geography features undulating sandstone mountains that form the edge of the Phu Phan Range. The forest is very well reserved and has very lush blooming ecosystem, which holds a diverse vegetation and wild life. There is also a small waterfall to explore in the park and hiking, swimming and camping are available in the general region.
