The restaurant is very famous and is known as Ka Moo Pak Khlong. Other restaurants have appeared where the cooking is just as good, and that offer both rice and seating. They serve the entire leg, not cut or sliced
There are many unique local dishes, such as kaeng lueang pla chon sai lai bua (a spicy, soup-like Southern curry similar to kaeng som, made with snakehead and the underground runners of the lotus plant, crunchy and different in texture from the stems of the plant’s flowers and leaves). There is also sai bui tom kathi kung (lotus stems and prawns stewed in coconut cream), pla nuea awn tod krathiem (sheatfish fried with garlic), som tam lai bua (som tam made with lotus runners), and pla duc ra tod.
