Dear Parents / Guardians
Further updates of the suspected food poisoning that might be from eating the éclair supplied by our external vendor. This however has yet to be confirmed by the test conducted by the Ministry of Health.
We have requested for the Public Health officers to visit the school to give us recommendations to further improve on our processes.
All the classrooms will be disinfected as a precautionary measure.
The school management takes this incident very seriously. The results of the testing of the food samples by the Ministry of Health will take a few days, so as a precautionary measure, all students will not report to school for lessons in the next two days, that is on 14 Jan 2016 and 15 Jan 2016. School will resume normal lessons from Monday, 18 Jan 2016. Make-up lessons will be arranged at a later date.
The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education have been informed about the incident.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated.
We apologised for this matter and the inconvenience caused.
