Initially, an exploratory analysis was conducted to evaluate normal distribution (Shapiro–Wilk test) and homogeneity of variance (Levene's test) of each variable. Variables that presented normal distribution and homogeneity of variance were analyzed by ANOVA complemented with Bonferroni post-hoc test. Conversely, for other variables Kruskal–Wallis complemented with Dunn's test was performed. For body weight and AGD (PND 21, 28, 35 and 42), repeated measures ANOVA (RMANOVA) was applied with day as the within-subject factor and treatment as the between-subject factors.
