Procedure: The coulometric determination is less recommended for this product. We favor a volumetric determination. In many cases the indirect method using a KF oven is also to be recommended. For this procedure the most suitable temperature has to be found out for each individual sample.

III. Volumetric Procedure (one-component reagents)
Titrating agent: HYDRANAL-Composite 5
Working medium: 30 ml HYDRANAL-Methanol dry or HYDRANAL-Methanol Rapid
Sample handling: The sample is divided as finely as possible and weighed out with the help of a powder funnel.
Sample amount: 0.5 g
Procedure: The working medium is placed in the titration cell, heated to 50 �C and titrated to dryness with the titrant. Then the sample is added, heated to 50 �C, and titrated to a stable end-point.
IV. Volumetric Procedure (two-component reagents)
Titrating agent: HYDRANAL-Titrant 5
Working medium: 30 ml HYDRANAL-Solvent
Sample handling: The sample is divided as finely as possible and weighed out with the help of a powder funnel.
Sample amount: 0.5 g
Procedure: The working medium is placed in the titration cell, heated to 50�C and titrated to dryness with the titrant. Then the sample is added, heated to 50�C, and titrated to a stable end-point.
