1 (It’s always better to roll the wick around a pencil.
And put the pencil on the top of the glass jar, so when you pour gel; it stays in the center.)
2 Fill the glass jar with sea shells.
You can also use glass beads, marbles, stones or anything your heart desires.
3 Here’s how it looks so far:
4 Now take a small amount of gel wax in a pan
5 Take an approximate amount of gel wax to fill your glass jar. (depending on the size of your container.)
And warm it on a VERY low flame, otherwise it can burn.
(you don’t have to worry about the left over liquid warm gel wax getting wasted. You can easily restore it for later use once it solidifies in the pan. Also keep in mind that it solidifies quickly.)
6 Slowly pour the gel into the glass jar, making sure you don’t move the glass jar. Stability helps reduce the formation of bubbles. You can move it once the gel sets completely.
(Tip: If bubbles are formed for any reason. Place the candle near a window with sunlight to reduce the bubbles formation. )
7 Here I stopped pouring gel wax to try another fun technique.
I stopped at half and added drops of blue food color. The blue ring gives a beautiful ocean feel to the candle. I added only two drops and you can see how it looks.
