TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
EMPLOYMENT MATTERS
A1. APPOINTMENT
(i) PERIOD OF APPOINTMENT
a) An appointment to the service of the Company as a yearly (12 months) term appointment tied in with the Treasury Wine Estate project, the appointment shall be with effect from 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016.
b) An appointment to the service of the Company is valid when the applicant has received a letter of appointment and confirmed acceptance of the offer contained therein by signing and returning the duplicate copy to the Company
(ii) Exclusive Engagement
While you are employed by the Company, you must not be engaged, concerned or interested in any other business competing with the Company without the prior written consent of the Company’s Directors.
(iii) Inducements
Other than as contemplated under this agreement you must not accept any payment or other benefit as an inducement or reward for any act in connection with the conduct of the Business or your position in the Company.
A2. PROBATION
The employee shall be engaged on four calendar months’ probation to enable the Management to ascertain whether he is suitable for the particular aspect of the employment. Employee will be notified in writing upon their successful completion of the probation period.
This probationary period may be extended if necessary at the discretion of the Management. Each employee who does not successfully complete the probation period will be informed of this in writing by the Management.
A3. OFFICIAL WORKING HOURS
Your working days and hours worked shall be agreed in advance with the Company according to a monthly roster.
• Normal Promoters working week: Tuesday to Sunday (6 days)
• Normal working hours per day: 8 – 10 Hours
• Normal working hours a week: 48 - 60 Hours
• Extended working hours as a part of task assignment
• Daily hours depending on outlets: 1300 – 2200 hours
However, in view of your position, you will be required to work beyond the normal working hours as may be necessary to discharge your duties without any further remuneration.
