3.1. Chemical composition of seed meal
Data for chemical composition of raw and processed M.pruriens seeds (table2)showed considerable amounts of CP(223-237g/Kg),aNDF(222-253g/kg)in MSM.it could be also noted that either cooking or autoclaving M.pruriens seeds did not affect the composition of the seeds,however,cooking the seeds in alkaline solution (calciumhydroxide) led to reduction in CP,aNDF,ADF,and EE Content by 6.0%,17.7%,and 26.2%, respectively in comparison with the raw seeds
