Based on the above findings, the presented procedure was applied for the determination of analytes in some food and water samples. The results are summarized in Table 2. The concentrations of Cd(II), Co(II), and Cr(III) in food samples were found lower than their corresponding detection limit values. Also, lead has been determined only in a few food samples such as fenugreek, sausage, salami and bacon, in the concentration range changing between 0.10 and 0.13 μg g−1.
