My name is Jayme. I want to do so much with my future. There are so many opportunities awaiting me. If it’s striving for more and better that’s me with many goals.
My last name is Naki and it’s Japanese but I am Hawaiian. I was born in a pink hospital called Tripler. My birthday is January 19, 1996. I lived on Oahu until I was six years old. At six my parents got divorced and my dad and I moved to San Diego.
I have many goals in my life and getting out of high school and going to college are the most important goals right now. I would like to graduate high school with all the effort I have. College on the other hand is going to be a challenge, but I know that I can pull through. I would like to attend Michigan State University. The reason for this is because they have a very successful medical program and I would like to be in the medical field as a pediatrician.
How I will achieve these variety of goals is to work hard. I am going to apply for other colleges near and far. I am not the party type so keeping my head in the books shouldn’t be a problem. I will do anything to go to college if it takes fundraising or jobs of course, anything that is needed. I also have support from all of my family and friends.
I would like to be known for everything that I could do to help other, my personality, my determination, and my success. I would like for people to know me for the support that I have given to them in any situation. My personality is always upbeat and happy. I want people to remember the times that I was around always making them smile. My mind is set on determination, it is what keeps me going because if I want to do something I will not stop until I get it. I also want others to know me for my success. I want them to be able to say “Jayme Naki? Yeah she graduated college with a doctors degree”. I want them to bring my name up not push it in the dirt.
I have many achievements so far in my life. Freshman year I was very confident that I would join AVID sophomore but I moved to Hawaii. When I came back I had an interview for AVID. I was surprised that they would pick me out of many others. It was important to me to get in Avid. Another achievement I had was going to Hawaii and experiencing how my life would be there. It was definitely life changing because I got to meet so many new people and amazing people at that too.
I am in a few school activities. I was in Howl which is introducing the Freshmen to West Hills High School. I also played softball for the school last year. I am going to try out for basketball this year and I am hoping that I make it. I have not yet started volunteer work but I am looking forward to it.
As you can see I do have a lot in my past as much as I want in my future. I am determined to get everything that I need and want in my life. I will take every open opportunity and use is it to my best ability.
