Three speakers in the front produces high and mid audio, while the rear feature two low speakers to generate room-trumping bass sound.

The SRS-X5 only been used for two months, and the case one month. Both never left my dust-free, smoke-free home.
The travel case has soft interior to protect the portable speaker without scratches, wears.
