As shown in Table 4, anthurium cut flowers treated with 2 mM
SA during storage at 4 ◦C exhibited significantly higher antioxidant
enzymes CAT (P < 0.05), SOD (P < 0.01), APX (P < 0.05) and GR
(P < 0.01) activity (Table 4). Also, anthurium cut flowers treated
with 2 mM SA exhibited significantly higher DPPH scavenging
activity during storage at 4 ◦C (P < 0.01; Table 4).
