I have known my best friend for 7 years, and in that time, I have come to see that she is intelligent, responsible, and gregarious. We met in college, where she studied Mathematics and Physics. She later went on to get her Master’s in Mathematics, and she now does statistical research for Harvard University. When we were in college, she helped tutor me in a chemistry class that I found difficult. It was easy for her to understand chemistry and help me with the homework even though she had never taken a chemistry class before. Besides being intelligent, she is also responsible. Her mother died when she was young, so she took responsibility for her younger siblings. She woke them up in the morning and got them ready for school. In the evening she cooked dinner for the family and helped her siblings with their homework. Now that her siblings are older, she volunteers her time helping children with disabilities. Although she has had a difficult life, she is cheerful and gregarious. Every day she greets me with a smile and has a funny story to tell me. She loves going to parties where she makes new friends. She also organizes a French club that meets once a week. Although French is not her first language, she feels comfortable talking to people in it. For her intelligence, responsibility, and gregariousness, I love and admire my best friend.
