2 years ago, I essentially failed out of medical school. Being a doctor was, and still is my dream, but I realize now that I wasn't mature enough to cope with the challenges of 48 credit hours per year. All though high school and college, class was relatively easy for me, and unfortunately, I had that same mindset in med. school. Unfortunately, when you're surrounded by equally smart people, the work expected of you increases by magnitudes, and I was too scared to ask for help. By then, it was too late, and I was dismissed.
