This position will be based in Essilor Laos Company Limited, SUVANNAKHET (LAOS)

Mission:

The position holder will provide his maintenance & equipment expertise to ensure the management of the entire maintenance department involving manufacturing equipment engineering, facilities, water and energy conservation and projects to achieve the Global Management by Objective (MBO) targets.

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Plan, supervise, control and evaluate maintenance activities in production and facilities sections. Prepare yearly CAPEX in close coordination with superior and ensure target projects are implemented and achieved within budget.
•Optimize resource allocation for maintaining the factory and improve process uptime. Control inventory of spare parts, equipment and materials in coordination with Production and Purchasing Departments.
•Oversee support services operation of the facilities within the factory premises (HVAC, building maintenance, etc.) and ensuring environment & safety compliance.
•Administer project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Prepare for reviews and quality assurance procedures. Minimize company exposure and risk on project.
•Evaluate water and energy conservation programs and develop opportunities to achieve targets and enhance current policies
•Appraise staff during performance review periods. Align development and training plan for staff. Coach and mentor key people. Recognize performance and give sanction when appropriate.
•Set the performance objectives for the team. Develop and administer special projects in areas that need improvement actions.
•Ensure that the Company Health, Safety and Environment policy as well as relevant safety legislations are observed and followed

Qualifications :
•Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechanical or equivalent)
•Minimum 5 years experienced in Maintenance functions from multi-national companies. Equipment or Tooling expertise experience from Lens Manufacturing Industry is also considerably.
•Prefer the applicant who has home town in North-Eastern provinces and willing to work close his home town (by working in Suvanakhet, Laos.)
•Required skill(s): Maintenance planning and automated work order system, Project Management, Electrical & Building codes, HVAC process, and facilities management, and strong background in Total Preventive Maintenance
•Good in written and verbal communication skills (Laos and English)
•Proficient in MS Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•Ability in team management, leadership, interpersonal skills, innovative personality and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
