Emilie Pradichit joined UPR Info in 2015 as the Asia Regional Representative. She is an international human rights lawyer with expertise in promoting and protecting the human rights of marginalized communities, and in building the capacity of duty bearers and rights holders on domestic and international human rights obligations. Prior to joining UPR Info, Emilie served as a Human Rights and Advocacy Officer with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), from July 2009 to March 2015. Emilie also worked for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs when France went through its 1st Cycle UPR and was elected to the UN Human Rights Council in May 2008.
Emilie holds a Master of Laws in Public International Law from the Sorbonne Law School, University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She speaks French, English, Lao and conversational Thai.
