Reflection of light is an important property of light which is related to the travel of light to an object surface. The direction which light travels through the air to the object surface is called the incident ray while the direction which the reflected light travels from the object surface into the air is called the reflected ray. These 2 rays are on different sides of a straight line called the normal line which is drawn perpendicular to the object surface, starting at the point where the light falls and reflects.
