2. Due to (must be followed by a noun, not a sentence)

3. Regard = used to introduce a topic or refer to the previous issue
Example: “Regarding the new contract, we have some questions.” (correct)

4. According vs. Accordingly
The word “according” is used to give a reference to a previously-discussed matter.
For example, “According to our agreement in the meeting on Tuesday, 11 September 2012, the
tuition fee will be reduced to 100,000 baht per person”
The word “accordingly” is used as a sentence connector and to express the meaning of
“consequently”. For example, according to the meeting, the proposed tuition fee is too high
and needs to be changed. The executive members will have another meeting and the new
tuition fee will be updated to you accordingly.”
5. Look forward to = This expression must always be followed by a verb in an “-ing” form.
Example: I look forward to see you next week. (wrong)
I look forward to seeing you next week. (correct)
6. Advise vs. Advice (Verb vs. Noun)
Example: I truly appreciate your advice. (noun)
