Buds from both transgenic and non-transgenic Mexican
limes were propagated by grafting onto Troyer
citrange rootstocks and maintained in a greenhouse
for transgenic plants at 24–26/15–16 °C day/night
temperatures, with relative humidity between 60 and
80 %, and natural light. When new shoots were 30–40
cm long, homogeneous plants were used in virus
challenge assays.
